How it works:
In 2005 First National Real Estate Reliance held a meeting with the Principals from local schools to work out a way how we could give something back to the community who helped us a lot since the company first opened.
The idea that we came up with was that one hundred dollars from every sale during the year would go into a pool, which would then be divided up between the schools.
In 2006 the total prize pool reached $10,500 and each school was given a cheque for $1750 which was given out at school assemblies.
In 2007 First National Real Estate Reliance invited Lynbrook Primary School to be involved in the fundraising and the total for 2007 was $12,250 which again was divided up between the 7 schools and each school was given a cheque for $1,750.
Hampton Park Primary School
Coral Park Primary School
Kilberry Valley Primary School
Rivergum Primary School
St Kevins Primary School
Lynbrook Primary School
Each of the schools can use this money how ever they like to improve the education for Hampton Park and Lynbrook students.
This money can be used at any stage during the year and Lynbrook Primary School used this money to purchase drink bottles for the students for a walk-a-thon day during the year.
There are boards placed at each of these schools with a growing tally that lets the community know the amount that has been raised so far.
At the end of 2006 the money was used in many different ways by each of the schools: Hampton Park Primary School: Seating and Landscaping around the school. Kilberry Primary School: Media Room St Kevins Primary School: New PA system in their Hall Coral Park Primary School: Junior White Boards Hampton Park Secondary College: Seating and Landscaping around the school. Rivergum Primary School: Completing Landscaping after the rebuilding works.
